Catalyst for Renewal is promoting a series of lectures that may interest members in the Sydney area. Sr Susan Connelly SOSJ Phd will be presenting on the topic: Cheeky or Violent? Digging deeper into Jesus Christ’s demands of human beings.

The Risen Jesus is continually calling us to follow his way, to imitate him. Participants in this course will reflect on certain Gospel passages and teachings, bringing insights into the culture in which they were written in order to apply them realistically to our own times and challenges. Being nonviolent does not mean being a wimp.

The lecture series will be held in the Crypt of St Patrick’s Church at the Rocks over three Wednesdays: 7, 14, 21 October 2026  10am-12noon. Total cost $90
