Members unfamiliar with ‘blogs’ may not have noticed interesting comments that have appeared on items posted in previous weeks. Hence this alert.

Creating opportunities for ARC members to engage with each other around topics of mutual interest was an important element in the redesign of the ARC website. Links to recent items on the News & views page were brought to the front page to make them more easily accessible to visitors and the weekly (or monthly) email summaries were added as a way of alerting members to new material.

Any member is able to post items of interest to News & views and posted items have provision for comments and ‘likes’. To date such interaction has been limited but one recent item, When the blind lead…, has prompted a couple of comments. If you scroll down the News & views page you will see that items with comments are marked with the number of comments. This post is intended to draw attention to that and to encourage readers to read the comments from other members as well as the posts and to join the conversation.
